Hygienic robot for use in cleanroom environments

Hygienic robot Denso H202/UVAt Automatica 2014, Denso Robotics introduced the new VS H202/UV series hygienic robot designed for use in cleanroom environments. The new hygienic robot has a hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) spray and ultra-violet (UV) light resistant surface, making it ideal for the pharmaceutical and medical fields.

Additionally, the hygienic robot design features round forms and a screw-less surface preventing harmful bacteria from collecting in any hard to reach spaces. Furthermore, the H2O2/UV hygienic robot is equipped with a bottom connector cable and internal wiring all the way up to the flange.

Cleanroom environments are allowed only to contain a minimum of dust, suspended particulates, and chemical vapours. Companies in these industries have to operate based on strict regulations about hygiene and sterility, so a hygienic robot design is essential. Companies often use hydrogen peroxide H2O2 and ultraviolet light to kill germs and bacteria, so the hygienic robot has to be resistant. With its hygienic design and resistant surface the VS H202/UV hygienic robot is ideal for use in applications such as medical and pharmaceutical. The hygienic robot is also suited for use in electronics and the food industry where the highest levels of hygiene and sterility must be maintained.

The VS H202/UV hygienic robot has a payload of 4kg and an arm reach of 520mm. The hygienic robot offers floor, wall and ceiling mounting potions.
