Gesipa highlights robotic blind riveting at MACH

160317_GesipaGesipa is bringing a new integrated robotic blind rivet nut setting tool to MACH 2016. The FireRex is suited to installation into applications such as assembly cells, semi-automatic workstations and can even be integrated into robotic applications. It allows greater flexibility due to the external pressure transmitter enabling the setting of blind rivet nuts at almost any angle into confined work areas.

Also on display will be the automatic blind riveting unit, GAV (pictured). Riveting up to 40 rivets per minute depending on the type of application, the GAV can be operated either manually or as a component in a robot-controlled system. With an option to be integrated with robotic systems or setting process monitoring via the Gesipa interface that ensures rivet is set correctly, it is one of its kind available in the market.

Visit the Gesipa website for more information.
