Festo appoints Eliza Rawlings as UK managing director

160810_FestoFesto has appointed Eliza Rawlings as its UK Managing Director. Festo is committed to helping customers maximise productivity and competitiveness through its industrial factory and process automation solutions. In her new role, Eliza will lead these efforts in the UK, heading up the organisation and driving initiatives to engage staff and customers.

Eliza’s appointment marks a return to Festo, following her position as managing director of Cloud Direct. A chartered engineer with a 25-year career in engineering and technology, Eliza brings a wealth of talent and experience to her new role. She began her engineering career at Renishaw after graduating from Swansea University. After moving into management and heading up sales and marketing at Baldor Electric, Eliza joined Festo as National Sales Manager in the UK from 2002 to 2010, before joining Cloud Direct.

Eliza’s in-depth knowledge of Festo technologies, customers and organisation, allied to broader industry experience, make her the ideal candidate to take on this vital role. Attracted back to Festo by its commitment to engineering innovation, customer success and employee development, she is re-joining an organisation in good shape with the remit to continue to take the company forward.

“I am excited about this new opportunity to contribute to the success of Festo and its customers here in the UK, and I look forward to leading and working with the talented team to make that happen,” says Eliza. “I am absolutely committed to helping customers maximise their productivity and competitiveness, helping to drive growth and provide challenging and enjoyable careers for employees.”
