The robot kitchen that cooks your dinner

161006_MoleyImagine someone like Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver cooking for you in your kitchen. Imagine dishes from Top Michelin Restaurants cooked in front of you to the highest standard, not in your kitchen, but by your kitchen.

Moley Robotics, who have created the world’s first fully-automated and integrated intelligent cooking robot today launches their Seedrs funding campaign to serve you the future, now. Seedrs is an equity crowdfunding platform for investing in startups and later-stage businesses throughout Europe.

Moley is turning the dream of unlimited access to chefs and their recipes worldwide into reality, with the option of the robot creating their dishes for you; producing meals from around the world or even cooking your own recipes and sharing them with others all in your own home. It learns recipes, prepares and cooks them and cleans up after itself.

With ability to faithfully reproduce the movements of a human hand, they give the kitchen the capability to cook anything a human chef can – human skill in motion. Thanks to Artificial Intelligence, it can mimic the actions of a master chef precisely, bringing a variety of delicious dishes, cooked to the highest of standards in a domestic kitchen. It comprises of the kitchen cabinetry, robotic part, motion capture system, and the full set of kitchen equipment and appliances. Two highly complex, fully articulated hands comprise the kitchen’s enabling technology.

The Moley Robotics team also envisage a “share and sell” your own recipes feature on a “digital style library of recipes” style platform for consumers and professional chefs alike. Providing you have the ingredients, this feature will allow you to download a recipe for your Moley kitchen to cook. This will also give the owner the ability to then sell that recipe to other Moley owners via the online database.

Following Moley’s prototype success at the CES Shanghai in May 2015, where it was voted ‘Best of the Best’, they have already started the development of the production prototype model for launch in 2018. Moley Robotics is seeking a £1 million investment with the dream of bringing the self-cooking robot kitchen to the epicentre of family homes.

All Seedrs’ pledgers will get exclusive early access to purchase the Moley Kitchen and an opportunity to shape the technology and online recipes. Pledgers who invest over £1,000 will receive a percentage off the price of the kitchen, appliances, utensils and technical support. To become a Moley Club Gold member, pledgers who invest over £3,000 will receive a once a week free grocery delivery for your kitchen to cook in the first year of purchasing; £30,000 and above grants give you the opportunity to have a lunch with CEO, Mark Oleynik. Platinum members (£20K investment) get access to invitation-only special events demonstrating the Moley Robotic Kitchen in action together with a food tasting of all its dishes.

Founder Mark Oleynik says, ‘We are thrilled to finally bring Moley into the real world by launching our Seedrs campaign. Imagine you are buying a flat and the option is to have a regular kitchen or a robotic kitchen, it is clear which option you would choose. The success of our prototype makes us very excited, the future is very near.’
