Upgrade your Machinery Safety knowledge, faster

240809_PilzPilz Automation Technology has restructured its training offer and streamlined its training website. As a result, users can access the practical and interactive training programme quicker and with more convenience than ever before.

As an ‘Ambassador for Safety’, Pilz has been bringing machinery safety knowledge to the world for decades. But an ever-increasing networked world places new and tougher demands on automation – safety can no longer be guaranteed without security.

The growing importance of the latter is underlined with the enforcement of the EU directive NIS 2, the Cyber Resilience Act and the Machinery Regulation – all which make it mandatory for European companies, and those exporting to Europe, to make their plant and machinery secure in terms of Industrial Security.

The new Pilz training website has been designed with this in mind: In future, all training courses will be divided into three subject areas: Machinery Safety, Industrial Security and Product applications. All the corresponding training courses in the respective category are listed, along with information regarding the duration of the course and the training level. You’ll find training courses for beginners, right up to expert certification. With just one click, interested parties can access a detailed description of the respective training and can register.

The existing training programme is updated regularly, taking into consideration the current machinery safety specifications and requirements, such as the new EU Machinery Regulation. Pilz UK’s programme itself will be upgraded for 2025 and the purpose-built training facility in Corby will be playing host to some brand-new courses, including the latest TUV NORD-certified qualification ‘CESA – Certified Expert for Security in Automation.’

Visit the streamlined training website for the entire list of courses and availability for the remainder of the year. In addition to the scheduled dates, any of the listed courses can be run off-site at locations more convenient for customers. Contact training@pilz.co.uk for more info.
