RA Rodriguez brings Universal Robot to PPMA 2014

140729_RARodriguezRA Rodriguez reports that industrial robots, in particular the Universal Robot, are becoming an increasingly important part of its business. By comparison with other robotic equipment on the market, RA Rodriguez says the Universal Robot distinguishes itself as being compatible for tasks that require human interaction, easy to use, reasonably priced and light weight for easy re-location to another task.

Its incredible versatility over larger and more cumbersome robots combined with significantly reduced installation costs therefore makes the Universal Robot excellent value-for-money. This six-axis robot arm can be programmed to perform an impressive range of functions and can be installed safely in practically any working environment.

You can see the Universal Robot at PPMA 2014 in September, where RA Rodriguez will be exhibiting on its largest ever stand, showing the full extent of its products for the processing and packaging sectors. Alongside these flexible six-axis robots, RA Rodriguez will also be showing automated programmable linear systems, precision bearings, gears, drives and conveyor products. All have one thing in common – they offer engineering designers and systems’ integrators, features and benefits that are out of the ordinary. And these qualities are complemented by the company’s high calibre technical support.

RA Rodriguez is the factory representative for several manufacturers that serve the machine building sector, particularly those involved in automation and linear motion. Its long and successful association with the linear motion and automation specialist IEF Werner is a good example. This has led to RA Rodriguez gaining particular expertise in handling systems that provide safe and efficient transfer of items to or from packaging lines, often integrating end-of-line processes such a product marking.

One of the main stand exhibits will therefore be an ecoSTACK palletiser, an example of the IEF Werner palletiser product programme. Whilst the ecoSTACK is aimed at smaller pallet sizes (Euro/4 and Euro/8), IEF Werner offer a range of tray handling and palletising systems capable of handling sizes anywhere from JEDEC to Euro/1. All systems are easily integrated into the customers manufacturing processes and are commonly used in conjunction with robots and conveyor systems to support fully automated production.
