Faster installation of robot energy chains
With a simple zip fastening concept and no need for specialist tools, the zip feature on Igus zipper e-chain and zipper e-tube enables significantly faster installation of energy chains in robotics applications.
The small pitch of the zipper e-chain ensures low-noise operation, even at accelerations of 100m/s² and more. The zipper e-tube is fully-enclosed to ensure excellent protection against chip and dirt damage and can be opened and closed in the same, fast manner.
The modular design of the zipper lid allows the energy chains to be lengthened and shortened to customer requirements. As with all e-chains from Igus, interior separation is possible.
Winner of the iF Design Award, the zipper e-chain and e-tube from Igus are certified for use in clean room environments, and are available with UL94-VO classification upon request.
