Robot systems integration at Motek 2016

160617_Motek_1Motek 2016 will present robot systems integration in an impressive format with visualised, hands-on robotics process capability in all conceivable applications: complementary, congenial, collaborative, cooperative.

More than 150 special machine and robot manufacturers, as well as robot systems integrators, serve as a basis for the special trade fair guide compiled by collaboration partner xpertgate GmbH & Co. from Mannheim for the 35th Motek.

World-class exhibitors such as Robert Bosch, Denso Robotics Europe, Güdel, HIWIN, IAI Industrieroboter, KUKA Systems, Stäubli Tec – Systems, TM Robotics Europe, Universal Robotics, Yamaha Robotics and Yaskawa Europe represent the global robot scene across the board. Solutions embodied by numerous robots from other manufacturers whose products are integrated into turnkey automation and assembly systems supplement the spectrum of offerings.

160617_Motek_2The Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology and Automation IPA will be on hand in hall 7 with two presentation areas. One of these will be used to introduce the Lean Intelligent Assembly Automation project (LIAA). In accordance with the Application Road concept, relevant manufacturers and distributors of gripper systems and robotics peripherals, as well as handling technology and material flow equipment, will of course be located in direct proximity to the special machine and robot manufacturers, and the robot systems integrators.

The Motek international trade fair for automation in production and assembly is thus making a clear case in favour of process competence and against a show event, because modern robotics is penetrating new applications in more and more industry sectors and processes which go well above and beyond the usual fields of automobile manufacturing, welding and painting technology.

160617_Motek_3The focus is now on general industry, which promises to open up new dimensions to the robot industry where sales markets and turnover are concerned. But these markets cannot be conquered with show alone, but rather with practical applications for the real world – and this is precisely what Application Road at Motek 2016 will offer!

The consistent focus on actual practice in the field of production and assembly automation is making itself apparent once again in terms of exhibitor numbers for the 35th Motek.
