Live demonstrations by Igus of robolink D
Motion plastics specialist Igus will be displaying a variety of components and solutions for automation and robotics at the upcoming Manufacturing Management Show on stand G14, at Ricoh Arena, Coventry. Product experts will be on hand, demonstrating effective automation solutions for a vast range of applications. Additionally, attendees can observe an exciting demonstration of the robolink D system.
The system is made up of self-lubricating joints and worm gears, run via stepper motor and available in three sizes. Components for all types of applications, including self-lubricating bearings, linear gantries, and more, will all be on display with samples and engineering information available.
Thanks to extensive testing in their 2,750m² test lab in Cologne, Igus’ engineers are able to accurately predict the service life of products, offering reliability guarantees. smart plastics represent the next step for the more connected ‘factories of the future’, where automated condition monitoring and predictive maintenance will help improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
At the event, Igus will be demonstrating new improved smart plastics products, including the isense EC.RC, a system for monitoring e-chains, the optimised CF.Q module for the intelligent chainflex cables that customers are already using today and the intelligent iglidur PRT slewing ring bearings.
Throughout the show, the Igus team will be available on stand G14 to take visitors through the benefits and potential applications of their bearing products and cable management systems.
