Machine Vision Conference rescheduled for 15 July

210309_MVCThe 2021 UKIVA Machine Vision Conference and Exhibition (MVC 2021) is now scheduled to take place at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, UK on 15 July 2021.

MVC 2021 will feature keynote speakers and an impressive technical seminar programme covering eight different themes, supported by an exhibition of the latest vision technology; all in an environment that safely encourages networking with some of the world’s leading machine vision experts.

UKIVA chairman, Neil Sandhu, said: “As part of the UK Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, they will be running pilot events (such as conferences) from April, which is really good news. This reinforces the Government’s commitment for the safe return of live events by the summer.

“Of course, there have been many twists and turns throughout the Coronavirus pandemic, so we are also making plans for an enhanced virtual event should the need arise.”

Even over the past 12 months, the industrial vision industry has continued to develop and bring new products to market. And with no live vision events occurring in Europe for more than a year, UKIVA anticipates a high level of interest in MVC 2021.

“Changes in working practices, both as a consequence of the pandemic and of Brexit, are already stimulating increasing interest in automation projects across many industries,” added Sandhu. “Vision can play a crucial role in helping with economic recovery and the opportunity to learn more about its capabilities, see new products in action and talk to vision experts makes MVC 2021 very attractive.”
