RARUK Automation joins the Universal Robots elite

211202_RARUKThe commercial relationship between collaborative robots’ manufacturer Universal Robots (UR) and automation specialist, RARUK Automation, continues to grow in strength and depth, year on year. Having achieved gold UR distributorship ranking in May 2021, RARUK Automation has now been elevated to platinum status. This means the Shefford-based company joins an elite group of just seven UR distributors to hold this distinction, out of many hundreds across the world.

Key to this ongoing success are the resources that RARUK Automation makes available to UR customers in the UK. It has one of the largest sales teams devoted to automation sales which is supported by a comprehensive technical support team. Together they help customers to identify applications that can be successfully automated. RARUK Automation also trains and upskills its customers’ workforce to ensure staff take ownership of the application from installation to production.

Where a more complex automated solution is required, RARUK Automation also works with a network of specialist integrators to provide turnkey packages that utilise the key UR benefits of flexibility, safety and quick deployment.

This approach has resulted in a significant increase in sales which has been recognised by this latest platinum award. Applications are wide ranging but RARUK Automation has seen particular growth in automated surface finishing, such as sanding and polishing, on a variety of materials. Palletising in the food and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) markets has also made a significant contribution to sales.
