Free event aims at making robotics accessible
Recently, leading UK collaborative robot (cobot) distributor RARUK Automation hosted its first ‘Automation For Everyone – Free Robotics Demonstration’ event at the AMRC North-West in Blackburn. The next event is scheduled for 6 December 2023.
Guests were welcomed with a complimentary breakfast and cup of coffee, followed by presentations from a range of robotic experts. The line-up of speakers included representatives from RARUK Automation, Universal Robots Certified Systems Integrators (CSIs) Olympus Technologies and Cobots Online and RARUK Automation’s integration partner Astech.
Following the presentations, guests were free to explore a range of demonstrations including Universal Robots cobot application solutions and MiR mobile robots.
The event provided an opportunity for companies seeking insight on how best to automate polishing, welding, machine tending, screwdriving, material handling tasks and more to see first-hand the solutions available. Any questions could be answered in one-on-one discussions industry experts.
The next event will take place on the 6 December at AV Dawson’s Port of Middlesbrough facility in Middlesbrough. RARUK Automation will be joined by Olympus Technologies, Cobots Online and Universal Robots. Demonstrations will include Universal Robots with a variety of end-tooling, a MiR250 autonomous mobile robot, the ER-FLEX mobile cobot, a cobot welding cell from Olympus and the CoboTend CNC machine tending unit from Cobots Online.
