MachineBuilding.South to launch at Sandown Park
Following months of intensive research, the organisers of MachineBuilding.Live have confirmed the expansion of their acclaimed events programme with the addition of an all-new Southern show in 2026.
MachineBuilding.South will take place on Wednesday, 8 July 2026, at Sandown Park, near Esher in Surrey. A host of leading industry suppliers have already confirmed their participation, including ABB, Abssac, B&R Industrial Automation, Beckhoff, Charter controls, Finder, Heidenhain, IMI Norgren, Lamonde, Lenze, Lovato, Metal Work Pneumatic, motec, Pilz Automation Technology, Turck Banner and WSCAD.
The launch means that, for the first time, MachineBuilding will host dedicated events serving all three of the UK’s primary industrial sales territories. With the announcement of the new event, the full 2026 programme is:
- MachineBuilding.North – 13 May 2026, Concorde Centre, Manchester
- MachineBuilding.South – 8 July 2026, Sandown Park, Esher, Surrey
- MachineBuilding.Live and FoodManufacturing.Live – 14 October 2026, NAEC Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire
The announcement from The Engineering Network (TEN) comes on the back of the resounding success of MachineBuilding.North in April 2025, where exhibitor participation exceeded expectations and visitor feedback praised the format’s efficiency and impact. Organisers have confirmed that exhibiting space for the upcoming May 2026 North event is already almost sold out, underlining the strong appetite to bring together machine builders, systems integrators and OEMs seeking automation solutions and the suppliers of the technologies that helping drive future innovation, efficiency and growth.
Each event continues to use the unique format that has established MachineBuilding.Live as a standout in the sector:
- Level playing field – all exhibitors take the same size stand.
- Vetted audience – ensuring premium quality visitors.
- Inclusive pricing – low cost, all-in participation.
- One-day format – simple logistics and maximum efficiency.
The organisers say the new Southern event will provide exhibitors with fresh opportunities to connect with a high-quality visitor attendance in the region, while also strengthening the national reach of the overall programme. Incentives are also being offered to companies that book all three venues in 2026.
TEN managing director Luke Webster said: “Expanding into the South has been driven by both exhibitor demand and visitor interest. We’re delighted to be able to bring our successful format to Sandown Park and to offer the industry a truly nationwide series of events.”
